Picnic by the stream

Jordan is staying at CoL this weekend since today and tomorrow are her days off for this week. It's been great to have her around campus. I especially enjoyed talking to her about wedding stationary design ideas in general and Save the Dates ideas in particular. She's agreed to help me out, which is just about the most awesome thing ever. Oh, well actually, our picnic today might be a close rival...

This afternoon Danielle and Bekki wanted to go picnicking at a dam a nice walking distance from the campus. We packed up some food and water and headed off down our road, past the shacks where we buy essential meal ingredients, up another road and onto a small trail through the jungle. Danielle led us in a little off-trailing when she heard the stream, but it turned out that we hadn't made it all the way to the dam. Only then did Becky tell us we hadn't gone the right direction to get to the dam...we hadn't know she'd been there before and knew the way, haha. But by that time we just wanted to relax and eat our food so we decided that the stream was good enough for our picnic and settled on rocks with our feet dangling in the cold water.

Flower experts, what is it?
Not quite a dam but still a very suitable picnic site

Monkeys are the best. And also the worst but mostly the best.

I love all your little excursions. Good going and hope you have many more before you have to leave.
