After nearly six weeks of waiting since I last heard anything about my SM application, I got a phone call this evening. It was the ADRA Tanzania director and we had a good talk. Nothing's "official" yet (meaning the GC still has to vote, approve, and finalize my application), but I have acceptance from the calling organization. I'm feeling much more relaxed that I finally have some concrete information, a little bit giddy with delight, and quite nervous with apprehension about the position.
Tomorrow would have been six weeks since the NAD approved and sent off my application... I'm glad I finally got some answers!
